I bought a 28 X 22 inch canvas a few months ago but coudn't think of what I wanted to paint on it.
I finally though of it though.... I decided I wanted bamboo for my living room so off i went to find a reference photo and started painting away!

This is my first sitting, no sketching prior to painting I think all in all it was a little over two hours work ... I got sooo sucked into painting ... it had been much much too long since I've picked up a brush!
It was a little challenging getting a canvas that size covered with acrylic pain before it got too dry to work in some other colors
Also having a challenge at making something look blurry in the background ... hmmm gotta keep working at it!
I hope to do another sitting tonight
This is the reference photo i'm using , I upped the colors some in photoshop to suit my own tastes better: [link]
